Case Study 1

Installation of a nation-wide network for the industry-leading architectural firm. This system encompasses ATM-FR inter-working (FRF.8) technology to aggregate remote frame-relay offices back to the corporate ATM connection. This firm has IP Telephony at the corporate office in DesMoines, and at branch offices in Phoenix, Palatine (Chicago), downtown Chicago, Costa Mesa, Sacramento, Jacksonville, Tampa and Dallas (about 300 phones overall). Also implemented is an IP video conferencing system incorporating a Cisco MCU to connect all 10 of their offices Unity Voice Mail provides coverage for all telephony enabled offices.New fileservers have been provisioned for each site and management of their equipment hardware replacements is done remotely. As a part of that program, we provision “sonic depot” service such that they receive 4-hour availability to parts.

Case Study 2

Installation of Cisco VPN and Cisco PIX firewall to provide secure communications to their branch office in the Netherlands. Coordinated installation of their VPN to the Netherlands, and Call Manger integration to Lucent phone system in Des Moines. This involved working with AT&T services to install a 256K leased line (international), and configuration of QoS and routing to support only desired traffic over the point-to-point connection. Other aspects include: Facilitated connection of Call Manger to Senior Management’s home in the Netherlands, ongoing consulting and updates. The firm has recently upgraded their network to Microsoft Exchange 2000 and is a prime candidate for IP telephony in their office in Des Moines.
